On Monday 5th October Councillor Tim Harman hosted a dinner, on behalf of The Mayor, Councillor Duncan Smith and the Mayoress Helen Smith, for 41 guests at The Spice Lodge in Cheltenham. The dinner was held to raise funds for the Mayor’s Charities Riding for the Disabled and Maggies. A Raffle was held and one of the prizes included was a Bottle of Whiskey signed by David Cameron. A fantastic £780 was raised which will be split between the two charities.
The Mayor presented Mohammed Rahman, owner of Spice Lodge, with a book on Cheltenham to thank him for his generosity and support for the dinner and for the continued effort he has made for several years to raise many thousands of pounds for good causes across Cheltenham.
